Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) on Tuesday accused Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) of playing "Sindh Card" to strength his party's vote bank on ethnic lines. Reacting to press conference of Bilawal Bhutto in Hyderabad, MQM-P in a statement said that sub-clause 4 of article 149 is not extra constitutional but is very much part of the constitution of the country.

MQM-P stated that PPP Chairman couldn't point out a single clause in the constitution of the country, which restrains federal government to exercise article 149(4) of the constitution. MQM-P also demanded the patriotic political forces and government to take notice of what it dubbed as "anti-Pakistan" press conference of Bilawal Bhutto. Party blamed PPP of putting the sovereignty of the country in danger whenever the administrative and constitutional changes in the country are talked about.

MQM-P said that how federation could shut its eyes when a provincial government occupied all the resources and the people of that province were touching the poverty level. MQM-P also called that the implementation of article 149(4) in Karachi was need of the hour for just distribution of resources and resolution of the problems, people were facing.
